Roni Sue Greenberg

Roni Sue Greenberg, 78, passed away in the early hours of July 12, 2026. She was born in New York City on April 19, 1948, to the late Fred and Naomi Weingarten.

Preceded in death by her identical twin sister Jill, she is survived by her husband of 55 years Mark, brother David, son Matthew, daughter Lisa, and granddaughters Aeris and Phaedra. Roni enjoyed skiing, bridge, mahjong, and jazzercise. She was a librarian who loved books and reading. Her years' long battle with Multiple Sclerosis and ‘never give up’ attitude throughout was courageous.

Graveside service will be held Monday, July 27 at 11 a.m. at Glendale Cemetery (150 Glendale Avenue, Akron). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
