Robert Alan Silverberg, 86, passed away October 29, 2024.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York October 12, 1938 to the late Harry and Frieda Silverberg.

Bob retired from Kent State University after many years as a professor of Social Work. He loved his students and was adored by them. He was a proud author of the book "Psychotherapy with Men". Bob was a very kind man with a remarkable sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceded in death by his sister Celia, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Leslie, daughter Erika Lynn Silverberg, sister Ann (Larry) Ruth, niece Eve Rumley and cousin Hope .

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 1:30 pm at Workmen's Circle Cemetery, 310 Swartz Road in Akron.
