Rhoda Diane Migdal (Mirman)

Rhoda Migdal, 89, passed away on August 25, 2022. She was born January 9, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio. Preceded in death by parents Gertrude and Benjamin Mirman, sister Beverly Chevlan and son Kerry Migdal. Rhoda was a lifelong resident of Akron but made regular winter pilgrimages to Palm Springs. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Stan Migdal. During those years Rhoda & Stan shared travel, their love of sports and books. Rhoda is also survived by family who adored her: sons Keith (Ellen OBM), Kyle (Robin) and Kirk (Debbie) and grandchildren, Ben (Ashley), Korey (Jessica), Eli (Christine), Joe (Abbey), Sam (Annie), Lindsay, Spencer and Abbey Migdal (Bradley) as well as her three great-grandchildren Elyse, Kaleb and Leo.
She is also survived by her nieces, nephew and friends. Rhoda was not only well adored, she was also well adorned. She was a snappy dresser and had exquisite taste and style. She was small in stature but larger than life to our family: no one can fill her shoes (literally and figuratively.) She wore many hats including teacher, business woman, year round latke queen and hostess of many special gatherings for family and friends. Rhoda led a very active lifestyle playing tennis until she was 85 and logged many miles with friends walking Sand Run Trail. The family would like to express their gratitude to caregivers T.J. Bell & Linda Hammond and the caring staff at Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care center. The service and burial will take place Sunday August 28 at Rose Hill Cemetery at 1pm. The family requests that In lieu of flowers donations be made to The Kerry Migdal Memorial Fund care of the Shaw JCC.
