Neil "Ricky" Lowry

Neil Richard Lowry, “Ricky”, passed away on July 21,2026, after a long illness. Ricky went to Buchtel High School and Kent State University. He was the proud owner of Lowry’s Children’s Wear, where he clothed many of the children in the area. He was the president of the Copley Athletic Association. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball, playing tennis and golf for many years. He loved boating at Cedar Point. He spent his winters during his retirement years in Fort Myers, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sybil and Howard Lowry, and his in-laws, Minnie and Morris Mostov. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Rona, children, Michael, Adam, Mora (Tate Schmid), grandchildren, Holden, Wyatt & Mallory, brothers, Randal and Ronald (Debbie), and many relatives and friends.  

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, 7/23, 2 pm at Temple Israel, 91 Springside Drive in Akron.  Burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.  The family will be observing Shiva 7/23 6-8 pm; 7/24 and 7/26 2-4 pm at The residence of Rona Lowry.
