AKRON
Morton Jay Emerman, 89, passed away August 18, 2021 in Boca Raton, Florida.
A lifelong resident of Akron, he owned the Harbor Bar at Portage Lakes and was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes.
He is survived by his wife Sandy (Lober) Emerman, children Debbi (Larry) Rosenblum and Scott Emerman and beloved grandchildren Allyson Paige and Megan Brooke Rosenblum; sister-in-law Marilyn Shecht and many loving relatives and friends.
Rabbi Moshe Sasonkin will conduct graveside service Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
