Greta Lisa Meyer (Morris), 54, passed away June 13, 2022. She was born February 20, 1968.

Preceded in death by her father Nathan Hersh Morris OBM, she is survived by her husband of 27 years, Mark; sons Payton and Mark; mother and step-father Esther and David Cooper; sister Allyson (David) Stewart; niece Sloane Stewart; step-siblings Sue (Chip) Brady, Lisa Desantez, Lon (Laurie) Cooper, Eric Cooper and Kerry Cooper and loved by many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Greta was a graduate of Firestone High School and the University of Akron. She was a devoted Wife and Mother. She was patient, a great listener and always cared for others more than herself. An avid reader, she was also playful, enjoyed roller coasters and going to the movies with her sons. Greta adored animals and the family was never without a rescued dog.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held from 2-4 pm on Tuesday June 28th, 2022, at Temple Israel, 91 Springside Drive in Akron. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice or the American Cancer Society.
