With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Elliott L. Kool, 75, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Elliott passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on March 10, 2024.

Elliott was born on May 13, 1948 in Mt. Vernon, NY and graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 1966. He later pursued his studies at the University of Akron. He was a successful businessman, founding local businesses "Premises Protection", "Action Controls", and "Unek Hair Professionals".

His unwavering dedication to his interests and pursuits included playing the drums, being an avid SCUBA diver, carpentry, performing magic, and making those around him smile and laugh.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Samuel E. and Leah Kool, and his sister Andrea. He is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Nancy, daughters Lisa [Scott] Kinsinger, Julie [Dan] Black, and grandchildren Tyler [Hannah] Bailey, Lily and Kate Kinsinger, Emerson and Logan Black. He is survived by his sister Karen Schultheis as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness and warmth.

Funeral Services will take place at 11AM on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Revere Road Synagogue 646 N. Revere Rd. Akron, OH 44333, with interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
