Dolores Weintraub Ekus passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on March 1, 2023 at the age of 92.
A native of Akron, Ohio, Dolores married her first love Bill Weintraub and celebrated almost 50 years together where they built a loving home and had 3 children.
Dolores is preceded in death by her husbands Bill Weintraub and Harvey Ekus. Dolores is survived by her three children Kathi Robbins, Doug (Janis) Weintraub and Elyse (Brian) Gilbert. Nana is survived by 7 caring grandchildren and their spouses and 5 adorable great grandchildren who lit up her life. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to her Inn at Apple Ridge family who took such good care of her for the past 4 years. May her memory forever be a blessing.
Rabbi Moshe Sasonkin will conduct a graveside service, Friday, March 3, 2023 at 10 am at Anshe Sfard Cemetery, 310 Swartz Road in Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Revere Road Synagogue, 646 N. Revere Road, Akron, Ohio 44333.
