David Yedidsion, 82, passed away suddenly on March 14, 2026, while enjoying time with his wife and friends. Born in Tehran, Iran, he was the son of Agahjan and Turon Yedidsion and grew up there with his brother and three sisters. He initially planned to study architecture in England but later came to Kent, Ohio, where he earned his architectural degree.
While attending Kent State University, David met the love of his life, Barbara. They married in August 1970 and shared more than five decades together, raising three beautiful, intelligent, and talented daughters: Lisa, Ramona, and Sheila. He was also the proud and devoted grandfather of his beloved grandson, Joshua.
David enjoyed a long and successful career in architecture. His distinctive designs can be found throughout northeastern Ohio and in several other states. Over the course of his career, he received numerous design awards recognizing his creativity and vision. Despite his professional accomplishments, the most important things in David’s life were his wife, daughters, grandson, extended family, and many dear friends.
David was known for his infectious smile, his generosity, and his kind words for everyone he met. He was always ready with a helping hand and left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws; his brother, Iradj; his brother-in-law, Tim Wilson; and his nieces and nephews, Michael, Jonny, and Grace.
