IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bennett David
Aster
December 13, 1957 – July 25, 2025
Bennett D. Aster passed away on Friday, July 25th, 2025. Always a source of calming strength, Bennett quietly eased the worries and held the hands of friends, family, and most of all, his beloved Nicki. All those who love him will remember the twinkle in his eyes and the smile on his face when he delivered the perfect joke and watched the laughter rise in those who were listening. He was the ideal Poppa for two boys who love climbing trees, playing hide and seek, making up different rules for every game, and opening every drawer, closet, and cupboard to find what treasures awaited.
Bennett was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 13, 1957 to Max Aster and Betty (Field) Aster. Bennett joins the love of his life, his wife and college sweetheart, Nicki. Missing Bennett's lighthearted wit, even demeanor, and deeply good heart already; sons Matthew (Heike) Aster and Andrew Aster; Bennett's joys, grandchildren Sean and Maddox. He joins his parents Max and Betty and his sister Cheryl, and is survived by his brothers Bruce (Katherine) Aster, and Dennis (Christine) Aster, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many beautiful friends.
Rabbi Moshe Sasonkin will conduct graveside service Monday at 2 pm at Rose Hill Burial Park, 3653 West Market Street in Fairlawn.
